Mental Health in Schools Conference
The annual Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) Mental Health in Schools conference focuses on coordinating and aligning a comprehensive array of school mental health services – promotion, prevention, and intervention – to maximize student outcomes. The intended audience for this conference is school personnel that provide mental health/social emotional supports to students in K-12 schools, including school counselors, school psychologists, school social workers, school nurses, and other student support professionals and administrators.
Cost and Registration
This is a free professional development opportunity sponsored by the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE).
Participants may register at the Mental Health in Schools registration site.
Participants are encouraged to register in school division teams, to include: school psychologist, schools social worker, school counselor, and other student support professionals and administrators. Pre-registration is required and no on-site registration will be available.
