VASSW State Conference
We encourage presentations from professionals who are working in the mental health and social work fields, including school social workers, educators, and psychologists, as well as doctoral and master’s level students in those fields.
Topics of interest to our attendees: Mental health in schools, communities and schools, supporting lower economic students, self-care for social workers, McKinney Vento, Advocacy, Human Trafficking, Grief & Loss, Working with refugee students, substance abuse, supporting transgender students, safety during home visits, Autism, Brain Spotting, EMDR, and Ethics.
